Registered Nurses
A major breakthrough in the treatment of opioid addiction. Withdrawing patients from opiates using a transcutaneous auricular neurostimulation device – no buprenorphine, suboxone, methadone or injectable naltrexone. It’s Sparrow Therapy using the Sparrow Ascent.
The SPARROW ASCENT is a non-invasive class II medical device that is designed to withdraw patients from opioids WITHOUT introducing drugs into their system.

RESPONSIBILITES
- Follow up with patients and consult with practitioner as needed or desired
- Patient follow-up visit is 10 – 20 minutes.
- Maintain clinical notes in the company’s EHR system
- All patients have gone through a pre-screening for appropriateness of care.
- Patients will complete a Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) OR a Subjective Opiate Withdrawal Scale (SOWS) Assessment, PHQ-9, GAD7 and meet with a practitioner.
- Practitioner will conduct a clinical evaluation to evaluate the patient’s Opioid use history and the results of the assessments to determine if a prescription for the Sparrow Ascent Device is appropriate.
- Partner with medical personnel in a minimum 7 day patient follow-up program
- Everyone will go through a thorough training regarding the Sparrow Therapy SystemTM Instructions for Use (tANTM: Transcutaneous Auricular Neurostimulation)

- This position is a part time position for nurses with variable hours. It is not intended to replace an existing job.
- We are flexible with scheduling and can work around your full-time job schedule.

- Assess patients for opioid addiction treatment using the Sparrow Ascent Device.
- If appropriate, prescribe the device.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- All patients have gone through a pre-screening for appropriateness of care.
- Patients will complete a Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) OR a Subjective Opiate Withdrawal Scale (SOWS) Assessment, PHQ-9, GAD7.
- Physicians are to conduct a clinical evaluation to evaluate the patient’s Opioid use history and the results of the assessments to determine if a prescription for the Sparrow Ascent Device is appropriate.
- A total of 3 patients per dedicated hour (average 20 minutes per patient).
- Maintain clinical notes in the company’s EHR system.
- An RN will follow all patients and consult with the physician as needed or as desired.
- Modify treatment programs based on clinical observations.
- Recommend a treatment plan based on your knowledge of drug dependency and counseling, best practices, and appropriate ASAM level of care.
- Determine if counseling or psychotherapy is needed. Counseling, if needed, is a part of the program.
- All providers will go through a thorough training regarding the Sparrow Therapy SystemTM Instructions for Use (tANTM: Transcutaneous Auricular Neurostimulation)
- Partner with medical personnel in a minimum 7-day patient follow-up program

Substance Abuse Counselors
Under the direct supervision of the Program Director, we are actively seeking Licensed Behavioral Counselors who are experienced working with substance abuse, addiction counseling, trauma informed therapy.
Substance Abuse Counselor will provide counsel and support to patients suffering from opioid dependency in a telehealth environment.
JOB TYPE:

GROUP TYPES/TIME FRAMES/SIZE/LENGTH/FREQUENCY:

- Group Sizes: 3 to 15 members but varies according to the group
- Length: 1 (session) week, 4 (sessions) weeks, 7 – 8 (sessions)
- Frequency: Continual Rotations of each group
QUALITIES
