12 Week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The most advanced and effective treatment for opioid use disorder

What is IOP?

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is meticulously crafted to address severe addictions. In contrast to standard outpatient treatment, IOP necessitates a greater time commitment and customizes therapeutic approaches based on individual needs. Participants can anticipate a rigorous schedule, commencing with both a comprehensive medical and mental health assessment. Upon enrollment, a medical evaluation along with active involvement in a diverse array of therapies is required, encompassing both individual counseling and group sessions. The program offers access to our proficient medical providers, mental health therapist, and our esteemed Live Well Partners. While family therapy remains optional, it presents an additional avenue for support and healing.

How does it work?

At iWILL ’til iRECOVER, we pride ourselves on delivering treatment of unparalleled quality, on par with conventional settings, while prioritizing enhanced privacy and convenience. Frequently asked questions

Intensive Outpatient is for people who:

1. Can commit to a program at the IOP level and don’t need medically-supervised stabilization (detox).

2. Can’t go to residential rehab because of work, children, transportation, disabilities, or mobility challenges, but still would benefit from an intensive program.

Additionally, intensive outpatient programs are for people who:

Graduated inpatient rehab and will use IOP to maintain structure and support groups as they integrate back into society.

We treat people with professional psychology, provided by therapists with masters and PhD degrees. Our treatment programs are highly structured and follow the best practices of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). We offer group support meetings that are led by our therapists and Live Well Partners. By creating new neurons and repairing damaged neurons, social connectedness improves brain health. Participating in mutual self-help groups provides ongoing social support.

Online IOP is as effective as in-person, so it’s up to you. With iWILL ’til iRECOVER, clients get help from the privacy of their own homes. We work around clients’ busy schedules, not the other way around. We have therapists in every U.S. time zone, so clients can choose the hours that work for them.

The problem with intensive outpatient programs is that patients can’t always make their groups on time. If they miss their IOP sessions, they’re discharged from the program. The person may face legal hardships and violations if they are court-ordered to attend IOP.
